We have committed to providing quarterly seminars that educate parents of students with learning differences.

Chance to Excel in partnership with UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television (TFT) supports bringing students together in safe, inclusive spaces to ensure their success.
We support TFT’s goal of expanding the TFT Wellness Center into a true home away from home for students—a place where they feel included, supported, and equipped with the skills to enhance their personal well-being, academic success, and career readiness.
Through our partnership with Chance to Excel, we were able to establish our Sensory Sunday program at CuriOdyssey. Sensory Sundays are designed for guests of all ages who are neurodivergent, have sensory access needs, and/or have a difficult time in large groups or museum settings.”
Aragon Burlingham, Executive Director, CuriOdyssey
Since launching in 2023, we’ve been a proud sponsor of CuriOdyssey’s Sensory Sundays.
Sensory Sundays are a quarterly event designed for guests of all ages who are neurodivergent, have sensory sensitivities, and/or have a difficult time in large groups or museum settings.

In 2020, we supported the Best Buddies program at Hillsdale High School. They had a fundraiser and we matched the funds raised.
Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD).
We have approved grants for parents and students to obtain support from a Special Education Advocate.

Real Options for City Kids (R.O.C.K.) is the largest provider of academic and social support for at-risk youth in Visitacion Valley. With support from Chance to Excel, they’ve been able to continue their work with the community during the uncertain times of the pandemic.
Approved grant funding for Special Education Advocate resources.
